Whole-Home Care

Whole-home mold specialists. Why people choose PureAire Technology.

Our patented vapor system treats surfaces, hard-to-reach void spaces, and the air in your home, including the places you can’t see. So the air your family breathes the night we leave is measurably cleaner.

One-day treatment

Most homes are treated in one visit, and you sleep in your own bed that night.

EPA-recognized safer chemistry

The active component of the sterilant is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

Workmanship guarantee

An accredited third-party lab checks the result of every treatment. If the result doesn't hold, we make it right.

The whole home, including mold you can’t see

VaPURE™ vapor reaches surfaces, indoor air, wall cavities and HVAC, the parts of a home a conventional crew can only get to by cutting into it.

Most homes need no demolition

The vapor gets into wall cavities and voids without opening them up, so there is far less to rebuild afterwards.

Cleaner indoor air, measured

Air samples before and after, with a written lab report you keep.

Inside VaPURE™

How Our Whole Home Mold Remediation Works.

In Miami-Dade County, Pure Maintenance licenses its patented VaPURE™ vapor treatment to PureAire Technology alone. It is the same technology studied by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The vapor disperses at around 7.5 microns. A mold spore measures 12 to 30 microns, so anywhere a spore can get into, the treatment can follow: wall cavities, HVAC, porous materials. The active component of the sterilant is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List.

  • Treats mold on surfaces and in the air
  • 7.5 micron vapor against 12–30 micron mold spores
  • EPA-recognized safer active ingredient
  • No relocation, no demolition in most homes, return home same evening

The VaPURE™ Process

Four steps. One clear outcome.

Every project follows the same protocol: diagnose, treat, prevent, prove. Here's the high-level view; the detailed walkthrough follows below.

  1. 01

    We find the mold

A technician walks the property for visible growth and tracks down the moisture feeding it. Air samples are sent to an accredited third-party lab.

  2. 02

    We treat the mold

Positive air pressure carries the sterilant through the home as a fine vapor, and it treats the mold it touches, including growth behind walls and inside the HVAC.

  3. 03

    We inhibit future mold growth

Our antimicrobial protectant bonds to surfaces, electrostatically attracting spores and mechanically disrupting them on contact.

  4. 04

We prove success with lab tests

Post-treatment air samples go back to the same accredited lab. Results take around ten days and arrive as a written before-and-after report. We don't close the job until the treated space reads at or below the outdoor reference sample.

Detailed Walkthrough

Whole-home remediation. How it works.

Every project follows the same four steps: diagnose, treat, prevent, prove. No improvisation, no upsells, no surprises.

01  Property Inspection

We inspect the property to tailor treatment.

Every home is different, and the causes of mold growth could be numerous. Mold can be caused by moisture conditions, structural defects, or a blend of factors. Our specialist technicians help you understand why your home has a mold problem so we can tailor the treatment accordingly.

Our expert technicians use a suite of professional diagnostic and screening tools, combined with their knowledge, to offer insights on the indoor air quality and mold load in your home. We'll use tools on a case-by-case basis ranging from air samples and spore-trap culture tests to moisture readings.

02  Mold Treatment

Our patented VaPURE™ process denatures mold and other microbes.

The treatment applies a fine vapor of a sterilant whose active component is on the EPA's Safer Chemical Ingredients List, treating mold through cell wall erosion and protein denaturation. Our proprietary technology is designed for thorough coverage, penetrating even the most hard-to-reach areas.

Treatment is delivered in a single visit, with typically no demolition and no relocation required. Most families are back in their home the same evening.

Preventive antimicrobial coating application Protective barrier
03  Mold Prevention

The second stage of the VaPURE™ process inhibits future mold growth.

We apply an antimicrobial coating that forms a covalent bond with critical surfaces, creating a long-lasting protective layer that doesn't wash off.

The coating electrostatically attracts mold spores and other microbes, drawing them into contact with the surface and mechanically neutralizing them, keeping your home protected long after we've left.

Third-party accredited lab clearance report Third-party verified
04  Accredited Lab Proves Success

Don't just take our word for it.

The standard we work to: mold levels in the treated space at or below the outdoor reference sample taken the same day, measured by air sample. If the post-treatment lab analysis falls short of that, we make it right.

Our work is verified by independent scientists at a third-party accredited lab with no affiliation to any mold testing or remediation company. Post-treatment air samples are analyzed against the original baseline and against an outdoor reference sample. Expect the results in about ten days, as a written report you keep.

Frequently Asked

Questions about mold remediation.

It varies with size, scope and the outdoor temperature. Most homes are done in a single day, and you are back in the same evening.

Costs vary with the unique circumstances in your home that caused mold growth. We tailor our treatment to ensure the best results. Because VaPURE™ technology is non-invasive, it is often cheaper than traditional mold remediation methods.

No visible residue. The vapor evaporates as it works.

Leave as many personal belongings in the building as possible. Inform your technician of any brass materials inside the home so they can apply the treatment accordingly.

Pets and people need to be out while the vapor is working. Once the space has been ventilated, you can move back in that evening.

It depends on moisture. The treatment deals with the mold present on the day, and the antimicrobial protectant keeps working on new spores after we leave. Once the water source is fixed and only light humidity or condensation is left, treated homes we have followed have gone about six years without regrowth. If a major water issue is left unresolved, the protection lasts roughly 90 days. We re-treat at no cost if a follow-up lab test shows it didn't take.

Conventional crews scrape, demolish and replace. VaPURE™ is a vapor that behaves like a gas, reaching the places mold actually lives: porous materials, wall cavities, HVAC. Same outcome, less invasive, and lab-verified at the end.
